Debbie GraceCharities and community groups are being given the opportunity to access free advice on employment law at a forthcoming event. Community First New Forest will be holding an HR Clinic at their offices in Ringwood on Wednesday 22 June 2011.

Hiring, Firing and Inspiring will be run by HR Consultant Jim Gilhooley who has many years experience of helping organisations through the minefield of employment rules and regulations.

The Clinic is open to all charity and community groups in the New Forest who either employ staff now or are thinking of doing so. Organisations are being invited to come along with their HR issues which they will be able to discuss confidentially.

Community First New Forest's Development Worker, Debbie Grace, explains, "Each employment situation is different and requires individual advice.

We are therefore offering 1:1 sessions whereby organisations will be able to have up to 45 minutes with an HR professional to find out about their specific issue".

Debbie added, "Topics open for discussion could include Recruitment and Redundancy, Training and Development, Contracts of Employment, changing Terms and Conditions or Managing Performance".

Sessions at the Hiring, Firing and Inspiring Clinic must be booked in advance. To make a booking or find out more contact Debbie Grace at Community First New Forest on 01425 482773 or debbie.grace@cfnf.org.uk
