Emergency First Aid at Work
This course is ideal for individuals, lone workers or employees of smaller low risk organizations.
The course covers:
• Assessing the casualty
• Unconsciousness
• Injuries to bones, muscles and joints
• Eye injuries
• Poisoning
• Choking
• Client specific subjects ie; Allergic reactions
• CPR
• Wounds and bleeding
• Burns and scalds
• Shock management
• Exposure to cold and heat
• Illness assessment
The course is classroom based with an accredited, qualified and experienced tutor. Assessment is by the tutor on an on-going basis.
Please wear comfortable clothing and trousers.
A comprehensive handbook and Emergency Reference Manual will be supplied.
