New Volunteer Centre Co-ordinator
Sarah will be working across the New Forest helping individuals to start volunteering and assisting organisations to offer volunteer placements.
Sarah says her aims are, “To promote and develop excellent volunteering opportunities, enable participation in volunteering and offer advice and guidance to local organisations.”
She has a background in volunteer management and advice and guidance and is passionate about helping people move forward in their lives, through volunteering.
Having seen first hand the difference volunteering can make in people’s lives, Sarah is particularly interested in helping people with additional needs and challenges.
She hopes to be able to engage more people into volunteering across the New Forest and see the benefits not only for the individuals and organisations but also for the wider community.
