Community First, New Forest is an umbrella organisation assisting in the development of strong and diverse local communities and voluntary organisations.  We endeavour to remove barriers to social inclusion by working with those disadvantaged and isolated.

Nightstop has been launched and has more than ten houses ready to receive young people, the Project Development Team have already exceeded their training targets for the year and have identified a need for a core curriculum of training for next year.

Care and Repair have raised an impressive �6,664 of charitable funding for essential repairs to local homes and have launching a home repair van service �Repair with Care� this summer.

The Sitting Service has introduced a training programme and is increasing it�s admin hours to cope with demand.

The Transport Office have a new minibus and Debbie Roome has joined us as Transport Manager of this very busy department.

The Volunteer Bureau saw New Forest Volunteers recognized by the Chairman of the District Council at an award ceremony in this office in June.

All this is in addition to our core responsibilities to our members and neighbours of supporting the development of voluntary action and a thriving local community
