Ringwood Good Neighbours group are urgently in need of some help

The group aren’t able to continue running without the support of volunteer coordinators. If you have a few hours to spare a month, would you be able to help co-ordinating the befriending scheme in the BH24 area?

This is a varied and interesting role which includes:

  • Helping to ensure training needs of volunteers are met
  • Assess clients and match them with a befriender
  • Listening and supporting the volunteers regarding their befriending role
  • Deal with volunteer expenses
  • Compile a list of local activities and support groups for the use of befrienders wishing to recommend additional social contact to clients

Full training is given as well as ongoing support as part of a dedicated team. For more information or to apply please click here: https://www.cfnf.org.uk/opportunity/?slug=befriending-co-ordinator-30&id=30
