Home Support Services

Home Support Service

A caring service to enable older people to remain safely in their own homes.

What we do

We provide high quality professional personal care and companionship to those living alone or who need someone with them while their usual carer or member of their family goes out.  We have over 14 years experience of providing care and sitting services.

We can assist with showering, bathing and other personal care tasks as well as undertaking shopping for, or with, the client and carrying out any light household duties that we agree to do.

Clients may be taken for a drive or to any appointments they wish to attend or remain at home to chat and have a cup of tea. We provide a truly flexible service that can be tailored to suit most needs.

We have experience of looking after a wide range of people including those who have dementia, mental health problems, learning difficulties, Parkinsons and other conditions.

Flexibility

We can accommodate clients who require regular visits as well as those who only need to access care on an occasional basis.  With a team of 100 carers we can nearly always find someone to help, even at short notice.

Our 24/7 care option

For families who need a break but would prefer their family member to stay at home we can provide an overnight respite service.  This avoids the need for considerable upheaval which can be very distressing for everyone concerned.

Where we operate

We have carers and sitters in the following areas of the New Forest:

  • Coastal area including New Milton, Lymington, Milford on Sea, Hordle, Brockenhurst and Sway
  • Lyndhurst area including Winsor, Cadnam and Minstead
  • Totton area including Ashurst, Eling and Holbury
  • Waterside area including Fawley, Blackfield, Hythe, Dibden Purlieu and Marchwood

Our commitment to quality

All our sitters and carers are DBS checked and fully trained to enable them to safely deliver care and support to a high standard.  We are inspected annually by the Care Quality Commmission (CQC).

What our clients say

From a client’s family – “Thank you for all you have done for Mum and A. over the last 2 years.  You enabled them to enjoy many happy months together at home, which we never thought possible when Mum went into the nursing home in 2012”.

From a care worker – “Thank you so much for everything you have done for me for the last 2 years, thank you for making me laugh and smile through the bad times, will miss you all so much”.
