All change at Community First Volunteer Centre

Community First New Forest has appointed Lyndsey Trinder as the new Volunteer Centre Coordinator, covering Sarah’s Suddrey’s maternity leave.

Lyndsey will be working across the New Forest helping individuals to start volunteering and assisting organisations to offer volunteer placements.

Lyndsey says her aims are “To promote and develop excellent volunteering opportunities, enable participation in volunteering and offer advice and guidance to local organisations.” She has a background in working with community groups and advice and guidance and is passionate about helping people move forward in their lives, through volunteering.

Having been a volunteer herself Lyndsey knows first hand the difference volunteering can make to people’s lives.  She hopes to use her enthusiasm for volunteering to engage more people into volunteering across the New Forest and see the benefits not only for the individuals and organisations but also for the wider community.
