A new guided gentle paced walk of about an hour led by a trained Volunteer Walk Leader begins on Tuesday, 2 August at 10am from the Car Park on Bath Road.
Community First New Forest supports 10 Health Walks across the New Forest and has nearly 300 walkers. All walks are free to join and not only are they great for your physical health, they also have proven mental wellbeing benefits. Who doesn’t feel better after a walk in the fresh air! Walking will also build your strength and boost your energy levels.
Our walks offer a wonderful opportunity to meet people and see the local area from a different perspective. Often walkers share local history and other local knowledge. Once you become a regular, of course, you can just go along for a chat and a catch up with friends. Future walks will be held twice a month.
