Why not join one of the New Forest Voluntary Car Schemes!
They provide transport and other help to people who cannot easily get out and about. You can give as little or as much time as you wish. There is not regular commitment - just as and when you are free.
You could:
- become a volunteer driver - receive reimbursement for your mileage
- become part of the team - take calls from passengers or join the committee

Could you be a Volunteer Minibus Driver?
The Volunteer Centre at Community First New Forest is looking to swell the numbers of volunteers who can drive minibuses in the community.
Do you have some spare time, especially in the summer holiday period to lend a hand taking children to activities in the New Milton area, or perhaps enabling older people to collect their essential shopping?
We are looking to MiDAS train new drivers to be able to assist these groups and many more.
We want anyone who is interested in training to be a minibus driver to get in touch.
It is a flexible opportunity which can fit it with other commitments you may have.
